On Becoming Crippled- Round II
My second surgery was this morning. Everything went well and I am back at home. Burke (my cold therapy machine/new fling) came back into my life yesterday. It is great to have him to support me through this whole ordeal :)
I realized this afternoon that my recovery for this foot is going to be a lot harder than the first . My first foot is still only about 80% and it really hurts to hop around on it. The way I stayed so active after the first surgery was by hopping around on one foot. I am at a loss for what to do now that I don't have even one good foot.
Oh well, there are many books to be read, lots of sleep to catch up on, and they don't call them "laptops" for nothing....I have a little home office set up in my bed :)
