"The Simpsons" Tells it How it Is
I am watching television..something I rarely do but I am back in the midwest for the week..... When in Rome, do as the Romans :) )
Here is the best scene I have seen in a long time. It happened on tonight's episode of The SIMPSONS.
Maggie, Bart, & Homer go to the Simthsonian Exhibit on American Culture and History. Outside is a sponsorship banner from "Omnitouch" a mobile phone company. Maggie asks:
"Why does the US government need to have Omnitouch sponsor this exhibit? Shouldn't the US government fund the preservation of our history and culture?"
Out pops a Omnitouch representative who says:
"The US government needs to spend our money on the essentials: anti-tobacco programs, pro-tobacco programs, the donkey preservation act, and Israel"
Props to the Simpsons for telling it EXACTLY how it is!!!
